JARVIS currently runs using two Linux based PCs (one Lenovo and one Asus), one Raspberry Pi running XBMC using OpenELEC, one custom built Windows 7 based HTPC, one custom built Windows 7 based desktop PC, one Acer W3 Windows 8.1 tablet, three 2 bay NAS devices holding 12Tb of data, one 8 channel CCTV DVR with 4Tb drive and a 16 channel/zone intruder alarm all connected together via CAT6 running through multiple gigabit switches and finally going back to a

Every device has been set up for remote monitoring and secure access with regular email reports sent from each device, activity logging saved to a local and remote MySQL database for future use and events notified to an array of three android devices.
A variety of HomeEasy RF433 devices have been used around the house for control of and operation of devices such as light fittings and socket outlets which, tied in with an RFXCOM RF433 Tranceiver can all be logged and controlled via EventGhost. In addition to the stand alone 16 channel/zone intruder alarm a number of HomeEasy PIRs have also been installed for early warning alerts and automation.
Control of the central heating and hot water system is done via a Heatmiser WiFi enabled room thermostat and timer with custom linux software running to enable logging and remote operation.
